Nonna’s Kitchen, Hoddesdon
This has been a full packed week of eating out a LOT, probably too much but it was well worth it. Our first meal out of the week was at Nonna’s Kitchen, Hoddesdon. This was our first visit to Nonna’s, and we were not let down by the Sicilian food and overall charm of the restaurant.
Pane E Olive
Basket Of Fresh Bread With Olives And Dips
Deep Fried Squid Rings Served With Tartar Sauce
Gamberoni alla diavola
King Prawns In A Spicy Tomato Sauce
Spaghetti With Clams In White Wine Sauce
Spaghetti With Smoked Bacon, Eggs And Cream
Ice Cream – the ice cream was out of this world, I had a combination of mint, hazelnut and pistachio, it really was the finest gelato.
Boydens Kitchen, Barnet
Our next stop was at Boydens Kitchen, Barnet. A super cute family-run cafe/ deli serving the most beautiful ‘Big Breakfast’, this breakfast is the works with an abundance of sausage, bacon, eggs, beans and even black pudding…
Honest Burger, Soho
Honest Burger has been on the list to try for a while, and as we were in London looking forward to a night at the Palladium seeing Sinatra on Stage, we thought it would be the perfect time to pay it a visit. We went to the Soho restaurant, cramped yet cosy we had a spot right in the corner. We both went for the homemade lemonade, the ‘Honest Burger’ and a side of onion rings. After visiting a lot of burger joints this was exceptional. The ‘Honest Burger’ was a combination of beef, red onion relish, smoked bacon, mature cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce, absolutely delicious. We will definitely be visiting again!
Sinatra On Stage, London Palladium
Here are a few photos of Frank, although only young we are huge fans of Ol’ Blue Eyes. The show at the Palladium is only running until mid- October, so if you get a chance to go, we seriously recommend it, we were completely blown away and overwhelmed.
